Many older vehicles can experience charging issues when replacing the factory incandescent warning lamp with an LED. Our Alternator Exciter Module is specifically designed to overcome this problem, ensuring your alternator receives the correct excitation signal while allowing the LED battery warning light to function correctly.

When the ignition is switched on, the module provides the required alternator excitation. Once the engine is running and the alternator is charging correctly, the warning light turns off. If the charging voltage drops or the alternator stops charging, the LED battery warning light illuminates to alert you to a charging system fault.
