How the Push Button Engine Start System Works

The RFID passive keyless system allows you to operate your vehicle's accessory, ignition and engine starting functions using the illuminated push button.

First Press – Accessories ON

• Activates the accessory electrical system.

• Blue LED ring illuminates.

Second Press – Ignition ON / Engine Start

• Activates the vehicle's ignition system.

• Blue LED ring remains illuminated.

• With your foot on the brake pedal, the system initiates the engine starting sequence.

Third Press – System OFF

• Switches off the ignition and accessory systems.

• Blue LED ring turns off.

RFID Proximity Range: Approximately 1 metre.

The RFID touch tag provides proximity-based authorisation for operating the engine start system.
