Our Battery Cut Off Switch adds safety to your Car by switching off all power in Emergency's.
The additional extra 4 poles are for isolating the alternator, fuel pump or ecu etc (This is the type required by CAMS/FIA)
The extra 4 poles elimates the possibility of the alternator circuit being damaged due to a voltage surge that can occur with the use of a heavy duty single circuit isolator.
When turned to the OFF position, the engine won’t run due to the power to the ignition relay or ignition coil circuit being cut.
To ensure the main vehicle electrical circuit is fully discharged, the resistor bleeds any residual voltage to ground.
This Single circuit battery Master switch provides Anti-theft and Fire protection.
